Case StudyMaking mental health care a seamless part of modern living.
About Therapy WorksTherapyWorks believes mental health care should be a seamless part of modern living. For them, therapy isn't just about navigating challenges, it's an essential part of finding clarity, building strength, and investing in yourself, your family, and your future.
For over 17 years, they've brought that belief to life across the Bay Area, with offices in Los Gatos, Scotts Valley, and Capitola. Their approach meets people wherever they are: individuals investing in their own clarity and confidence, families navigating life's transitions together, and professionals balancing ambition with everyday demands.
Whatever brings someone to Therapy Works, the experience is the same: grounded, welcoming, and built around the belief that feeling better isn't a last resort. It's part of living well.
How It Came Together
-
We defined who TherapyWorks is for, built out three lifestyle-based client pathways (For You, For Your Family, For Modern Life), and set the positioning that carried through every other piece of work.
-
We evolved the existing cog icon rather than replacing it, refreshed the typography, and shifted the color palette toward warmer, calmer tones, keeping the equity of the original brand while making it feel current.
-
We built a full word bank and voice guide so every piece of copy across the brand, web, email, social, sounds like the same person talking, whether it's a homepage headline or a staff email.
-
We designed and wrote the entire site, structuring it around the three lifestyle pathways so a visitor's first click is choosing which version of their life they're navigating.
-
Working with Lost Coast Media, we produced the brand story video and video gallery, translating the strategy into motion instead of just static images.
"The List"
A day in the life, told through what doesn't get checked off. "The List" follows Kelly through the small, competent choreography of a full day, until she adds one more line to her to-do list that isn't a task at all.
It's the quietest moment in the film, and the whole point.
Production and Concept by Opposite of East. Shot and directed by Lost Coast Media.
